Ich bin dokumentarische Familienfotografin und lebe mit meiner Familie in Norddeutschland. Meine Arbeit ist geprägt von Feingefühl, Intuition und tiefem Respekt für die stille (und manchmal auch laute) Schönheit des Alltags. Mit aufmerksamer und einfühlsamer Beobachtungsgabe fange ich flüchtige Momente und die Verbundenheit zwischen Familienmitglieder ein. Ich halte die Bindungen fest, die uns ein Leben lang stärken, und bewahre nicht Perfektion, sondern Präsenz.
2012 studierte ich Kommunikationsdesign in Hamburg und arbeitete anschließend als Art Director und Grafikdesignerin für verschiedene Marken. Diese Ausbildung prägte meine Bildsprache und mein Gespür für Komposition. 2020 begann ich bewusst Familienleben zu fotografieren und fand meine künstlerische Stimme – geleitet von Mutterschaft, Emotionen und dem Wunsch, flüchtige Momente festzuhalten.
Fotografie ist für mich mehr als nur Bilder zu schaffen; es geht darum, Erinnerungen sichtbar zu machen. Durch meine ruhige Art und meinen dokumentarischen Ansatz schaffe ich zeitlose Erinnerungsstücke, die Familien das Gefühl des Zusammenseins immer wieder neu erleben lassen.
Mein Herz schlägt für meine Familie, analoge Fotografie, Eiscreme, die Nordsee, Hände, alte Familienfotos, Klavierspielen, Zeit für mich selbst, Abende mit Freunden und tiefgründige Gespräche.
I am a documentary family photographer based in Northern Germany. My work is rooted in sensitivity, intuition, and a deep respect for the quiet beauty of everyday life. With an observant and gentle approach, I capture fleeting moments and the unspoken connection between loved ones. I capture the bonds that strengthen us for a lifetime, preserving not perfection, but presence.
In 2012, I studied Communication Design in Hamburg and later worked as an Art Director and Graphic Designer for various brands. This foundation shaped my refined visual language and my instinct for composition and storytelling. In 2020, when I began intentionally photographing family life, my artistic voice found its truest expression — guided by motherhood, emotion, and the desire to hold on to moments that pass too quickly.
For me, photography is more than creating images; it is about making memory visible. Through my calm presence and documentary approach, I create timeless keepsakes that allow families to return to the feeling of being together.
My heart beats for my family, 35mm and medium format photography, ice cream, the north sea, hands, old family pictures, playing piano, time for myself, evenings with friends and deep conversations.
